Kat’s love of fitness began in 2005 after graduating high school. Upon returning from a summer trip to Europe where she put on a few extra pounds, Kat decided to take her health into her own hands. After several months of attending group fitness classes at her local community centre, she decided to become an instructor herself, and this is where her passion started! The following year, Kat enrolled in the Human Kinetics program at Langara College. During her time as a group fitness instructor, Kat realized that she couldn’t get through to her participants individually the way she wanted, so she decided to become certified as a personal trainer. By 2012, Kat had completed her Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia, as well as started her own business.
Kat’s ideal client is someone who is ready to make positive changes in his or her life, but needs a little extra guidance along the way. She will help you jump start your fitness in a fun, effective, and safe manner, and will have you laughing along the way.
Not only is Kat an NSCA Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, she is also a Level 1 Precision Nutrition Coach. She specializes in vegan and vegetarian nutrition, as well as helping her clients build healthy eating habits.
When she’s not in the gym, Kat can be found exploring the great outdoors while hiking, running along the seawall, breathing deeply while channeling her inner yogi, or hopping on a plane and traveling the world.
