Leanne Chan

Author, Health the way Nature Intended

Leanne Chan strives to be an outstanding individual in her career as a business woman, philanthropist, yoga instructor, mother and world traveler. A graduate of the University of Western Ontario, Leanne went on to open her first business over two decades ago in public relations and marketing. Her client list varies across industry leaders from Rob Feenie of Lumiere, Shangri-la Residences, Rennie Marketing, Westbank Developments, Mayor Larry Campbell, Sutton Group Real Estate Canada and The Vancouver Sun, Province and National Post.

Always a believer of giving back for the betterment of the community, Leanne has been involved in the development of the Lundin Group of Companies Lundin for Africa Foundation and the Clinton Giustra Sustainable Initiative, Sutton Group of Canada’s Sutton Cares Program, the CW Asiafund, and fund-raising for several cancer research programs and developing The Cancer Store.

Leanne’s unique, worldly experiences have not only equipped her well to handle all things life hands her with dignity and grace, but has given her the open heart to inspire and lead others along the journey with her.

When faced with the difficult information that her soulmate was diagnosed with colon cancer, Leanne did what she has done when faced with adversity, she dug in and looked for answers and positive ways to deal with this daunting, life-threatening disease. Unimpressed and overwhelmed with the information that existed for patients and their families when diagnosed with cancer, Leanne took it upon herself to make sense of what was out there and create recipes and information that not only improved the health and recovery of Darren, but will hopefully serve to do the same for others.
