Healthy Frozen Yogurt Bark Recipe
Finding a healthy snack can be hard when you are craving desserts and sugar. Plus when that 3 o’clock slump hits, we usually just grab whatever is closest, this usually ends up being an unhealthy snack. So the only way to combat this unhealthy craving problem is to pre-prepare some healthier snacks.
The Simple & Easy Frozen Yogurt Bark Recipe
This month, we at Kudolife came up with some new healthy snack options, one of them was Frozen Yogurt Bark. If you have never made Frozen Yogurt Bark you are missing out. It is easy, takes less than 5 minutes and is perfect for the person who is lazy, too busy, or for the person who just hates prepping food. Plus it will satisfy all those cravings while keeping your body happy and your health in check.
The Frozen Yogurt Bark is so easy because all you do is take yogurt and add your favorite flavors. For our version, we mixed Greek Yogurt with maple syrup, strawberries, and blueberries. You can literally add anything you want, such as nuts, dates, chia seeds, anything. Frozen Yogurt Bark is extremely customizable- so let your imagination go wild.
How To Make Frozen Yogurt Bark
After adding and mixing your favorite flavors to the Greek yogurt, spread your mixture on a baking tray lined with paper. Next place it in the freezer and wait for the Yogurt Bark to freeze. The great thing about Frozen Yogurt Bark is that it is safe and will keep fresh in the freezer.
By making the Frozen Yogurt Bark recipe ahead of time, you will be able just to grab it anytime you want a treat, especially when you are on the go. This recipe will keep your taste buds happy and your health in check. Plus being a healthy snack makes it perfect for breakfast, lunch, or an evening snack.
We kept the Kudolife version of the Frozen Yogurt Bark traditional and added 2 of our favorite fruits, (that also happen to be full of antioxidants) strawberries and blueberries. Not only do these two ingredients marry well together, but they also are beautifully colorful, and let’s face it, good looking food just tastes better.
